There’s going to be a rush to the altar next Tuesday, as an estimated 2,265 couples tie the knot on the next-to-last date of the century to feature three sequential numbers, according to David’s Bridal.
The company keeps a database to track wedding date trends — particularly iconic dates with sequential numbers, or repeated numbers such as last year’s 12/12/12.
Last year, there were 371 weddings on the second Tuesday of November.
It’s all part of a growing trend among U.S. brides — who love to marry on an “iconic date,” the store said.

According to the David’s Bridal ‘What’s on Brides’ Minds’ survey, 40% of brides would consider planning their wedding on a special date, such as 11/12/13 or 12/13/14.
“When 7/7/07 happened and all of a sudden we had an estimated 66,000 weddings on one day, it caught our attention,” said Beitler.
